


Who can join?
We invite anyone that is a beekeeper, interested in becoming a beekeeper, or simply interested in honeybees, to join the association. The MVBA is a great place to meet fellow beekeepers and learn about the amazing world of honeybees and beekeeping.
Membership benefits
Membership allows you to attend talks by speakers on all areas of beekeeping and apiculture, helps connect you to beekeepers, and gives access to member-only content on the website. Additional benefits include:
Monthly general meetings with presentations, mentoring, advice, and support
Bee School
Use of the club honey extractors and tools
Special Social Events including the Summer Picnic and Holiday Party
Educational Outings and Workshops
Voting Rights
Eligibility for Officer and Committee positions
Volunteer/Outreach opportunities
Your dues pay for the operations of our association, including facility rental, insurance, event costs, speaker presentations, and supplies. Your membership dues also provide the community with the following benefits:
Educational outreach into schools, events, and other organizations
Interacting and cooperating with other organizations
Raising awareness about the needs of honeybees and other pollinators
What Does it Cost?
Membership dues are $40.00 per person or $50.00 for a family for the first year, and $15 per year after.
